How to write articles as a way to make money is a question often asked at marketing forums. Making money online is a big draw but the big question is how to get started. Almost every "newbie" has misconceptions about article marketing. Many assume there must be some special skills that "they" never learned in school but it's just not the case. If you need a no-cost way to get started making money online then this is a must have skill.
Writing short articles describing the features and benefits of products is not difficult at all. If you can get online then you already have all the tools you need. Lets get started.
We need a product (or a service) to sell. For now, we'll use Clickbank to find a product. Do a search and sign up for a free account. Under the marketplace tab find a product that you know something about and pays a good commission. Familiarity with the product will make your writing easier.
Read through the merchant sales page and take notes of all the benefits of the product and note any negatives that you can think of too. Think about how you would recommend this product to a good friend and jot down your ideas. Create your "money link" so you can paid when a sale is made and save this for later.
Do a search for Google's keyword tool and start entering search terms, you can start the product name (home brewed beer). You will be looking for keywords with a fair number of searches but not the top competition. Look for terms like 'buy beer making kit' or 'how do I make my own beer'. These multi-word phrases are ones searched by people looking to "buy".
These first searches are just to get your mind working. Some of the searches will give you more ideas such as 'home made beer kit comparisons'. You need to think like a buyer and search every term you might use if you wanted this product. Tip: This keyword research is where you want to spend most of your time.
Use the keyword phrases for your article titles. Just one for each article. Use the phrase again in the first paragraph and again somewhere near the end. Don't cram it in everywhere. Your article should sound like a conversation with a friend not a parrot repeating the same words over and over.
When you submit your work to an article directory you will have a place for a final thought. Here is where you will place your money link that readers will click on to find out more. Writing this last part in a way that entices the reader to visit the link is an art in itself. "Click to learn more about making your own beer" with 'making your own beer' being the actual clickable words is one example. If a sale is made, you get paid.
Using a free article directory such as GoArticles.com will enable the search engines to find it easily. Other blogs may also post your article too, as long they keep your money link in place and you will have an even better chance of buyers finding it.
This is how to write articles for cash. Your words can earn you money and it can all be done without costing you a nickel. An informative, easy to read article that tells, not sells will be read by more people and make more sales. Once you get the hang of it, you can write two or three a day and over time you can dominate a well researched niche.

How to Write Articles even when you think you cant Write.
The fear of writing is as common as the fear of speaking in front of large groups. Article marketing requires you to step into new grounds or pay a pretty penny for a ghost writer. It is not hard to take that first step and then take off from there. Many people have done it and I know you can do it too.
First, what is your niche or area of specialty, if you dont have one it is hard to get started if yoiu dont know where to begin. Take twenty minutes and think about your niche and write down notes on what you could make articles about. If your niche is internet marketing then you may come up with email marketing, article marketing, blogging, building a website, opt in lists and many more.
Now you have a list to work off of you need to build these notes into a title. Lets take blogging for example, our title could be "The ultimate secrets of making money with your blog." or something along those lines. You should try to use catchy titles with how to, 3 tips, secrets of, things like this will catch the readers eye when they are going through lists of articles. The title is extremely important because you want people to open and read your article.
Now for the body I just think about my title and start writing down the different thoughts that come to mind. When I have a list of thoughts I start building them into sentences trying to make it like a conversation between the writer and the reader. Break your thoughts up into small paragraphs that make sense and this will make it easier for the reader to understand. It makes for a better presentation and is easier to read then one big glob of words.
It will take some practice and every time you write you will get more confident in your writing. One more thing to mention is the resource box another important part of your article. Most article directories will not allow you to put links for affiliate products in your resource box. So place a link for your website in the resource box, if you dont have a website its is okay. You can place a link to a blog in your resource box so I recommend wordpress, but you can go to blogger or several othersites that are free. You can then place your products on there and people will see them when they click your link.

A great way to draw search engine traffic to your site is to write and add keyword articles. Keyword articles are articles that you write on a particular topic and then optimize for a word or phrase that visitors frequently search for.
Boost Search Traffic

Pick a Specific Keyword Phrase

Use Your Keyword in the Title of Your Article
Once you have decided on a keyword, use it in your title. Make sure your title is interesting and makes sense. Don't try to work your keyword in multiple times. Your title will sound odd. An example of a bad title would be "New Baby Gifts and Affordable Baby Gifts for a Baby Shower".
Don't Overstuff Your Article with Keywords
Obviously you are going to use your keyword a few times in your article.
Just don't force them in. This is also referred to as overstuffing with keywords. Your main focus should be on writing an article that flows well and provides useful information to your reader. After all it won't do you any good to get visitors to the page with the article, if you can't get them to read it.

Submitting articles to the article directories is a great way to gain more traffic and incoming links. You want to avoid creating extra competition for the keyword phrase you picked for your article, so before you submit it, take some time to come up with a different title that doesn't include your keyword, and maybe even rewrite some sentences within your article to do the same.

Aside from using your articles on your article marketing campaign, you can repurpose and use them on your blogs. Here's how you can do that:
1. Use visuals. Unlike with article submission sites, you can use visuals when posting your articles on your blog. Use images, statistics, graphics, and illustrations that are closely relevant to your content. Ensure that they are not too big nor too small so they will compliment your blog posts.
