  1. @SL4yb if it was me it would be a 6 in turn and another 6 in river

  2. @koloie Lol I’m not a poker pro by any means. I blame it on variance :P but that doesn’t mean my experience is completely null and void. I’ve gotten respect at casinos from so-called pros who play to pay bills and it’s probably because I’ve read a lot on strategies and several poker books.

  3. everyone’s a poker pro on youtube…

  4. Ivey is a MONSTER!

  5. @Ratoscruvy Pretty simple concept. A range is any possible hand combinations in which your opponent would take the same action. Again, it’s hard to know if this was a good call or bad call, because we weren’t given an interview from Ivey as to why he made the call. It’s look exploitative in nature. That means that Ivey had a tell, or perhaps the opponent made a spaz all in shove and it wasa easy to know he had the lead. Or perhaps Ivey made a bad call and wanted to hit the pool and got lucy

  6. @statfactors
Whats range? Im kinda new to poker, please explain.

  7. @bj07bran7 Exactly, you have to pick and choose your spots. It has a lot to do with studying your opponent. I don’t make these kind of calls until I’ve sat at the table for an hour or so and pick up reads on the players. A lot of times for me, I’m calling down after putting them on a draw, and especially when I see a couple blanks on the turn and river. You’re right, you can’t make a living but it feels good when you’re correct, otherwise tight is right.

  8. @DirtySouth2DirtyJerz I still hold that it was a reckless call. Perhaps phil had a good read on the guy…I don’t know. It’s not a call I would make unless I was a huge stack and just wanted to see

You can’t make a living on calls like that. You’ll go broke fast.

  9. @Broggi43 You don’t understand range in poker. Phil was behind his opponent’s range…but Phil was probably exploiting his opponent here. So you can’t judge it from an optimal mind set.

  10. @FormerlyKnownAsShun and your the one watching them :)

  11. EVERYONE THAT POSTS ON POKER VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE IS A COMPLETE DONK, YOUR ALL FUCKING DONK PIECES OF SHIT.

  12. @bierbuik so? it was a great call not lucky silly fish

  13. @EziixPked Ivey called because of his pot odds not because he was 100% sure he was ahead against his opponent. He did feel that the combination of his opponents range range, which included top pair, combined with the pot odds, warranted a call. In this case he happened to be ahead. But enough with the poker lessons. Go fuck yourself idiot!

  14. @bierbuik Fish please. Andersen goes allin with bottom pair and ivey calls with middle pair, with a great read. go back to reloading free 1k’s online donkey

  15. @SL4yb if it was me i twould have been a 8 on the river

  16. @Broggi43 nah he was lucky

  17. itz gud to be phil ivey you can make hero calls like this and you run good =D

  18. @unseensword I need millions to point out ur whining? when i lose i dont blame it on something else. KEEP THE CASH COMING FISH!

  19. @SubDonnyzzzzz

o yeh ? who r u and wheres ur millions then?

  20. @unseensword Typical fish excuse. Always it`s the pokersite. Play better fish!

  21. @SL4yb

I get sucked out on turn never mind the river lol , thank god ftp is gone that fuck tard site was too hard to play

  22. @SL4yb that’s why you are not a pro!

  23. @OdikosGamias I apologize about my tone of comment. If you’re making good decisions and getting unlucky, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep making those decisions. Eventually, the variance will balance itself out and those solid decisions will payoff soon. You just gotta be patient man. I’m not a poker pro at all, but I love to study the math and +EV portion of poker, so I feel you on those bad beats. Hang in there and you will find salvation from the poker gods ;)

  24. @DirtySouth2DirtyJerz Actually thats exactly what happens to me, and thanks I will.
