I really really want to learn Japanese, but I don’t have the time to go to school, and I find that I do much better when I self study. I’ve already found a bunch of resources, and im currently learning the Kana.. What would you recommend I do if teaching yourself with these resources isnt recommended?

I recommend livemocha(dot)com also, in some manner it’s like a free version of rosseta stone and at the end of each chapter you can make a redaction that will be corrected by a native speaker.
